Hollister Hills 6-5-10 + Pismo 6-24-10 (Lots of pics)

I'll start with my Hollister trip. Went down for the afternoon and just played around. Nothing serious but we had a blast. I brought both of my trucks down so both will be the pics.

This Izuzu was amazing. Never would have thought it could go through anything but it did EVERYTHING.....minus this mud. I ended up having to winch him out.

He high centered on the middle section in the mud.

And then just got back from Pismo where I only took the Yota down. Had a blast in it once again.

It has BALD Bfg M/Ts and I put it down to 15psi and ran into no real issues.

I was getting egged on to jump the truck again so some others could see it. Didn't even look at this portion before I plowed into it doing 35ish where the truck came to a dead stop and smashed the front in a bit. I'm hurting pretty bad today from that. My co-pilot at the time had a helmet and is a little sore.

and I stalled it and couldn't get it started again.

and to finish the night off, a small bonfire

This vid was literally just to the side of Comp Hill.

I'm in San Jose as well, and when I take the Chevy down it only take a little over 2 hours to get there. Well worth the trip. Took about 3.5 hours in the Yota...motors tired and some of the grades we would start at 75mph and by the top be at 35mph.

It was a dead stop. My head hit the windshield and we now have a new crack in it. It was fun none the less.
