Heartbreak Ridge/ Rattlesnake Canyon; SoCal Wheelin

Headed to Big Bear saturday morning to run Heartbreak/ Rattlesnake with the TTORA crew, A few were camped friday night, Myself and a few others camped saturday night..

Ill shutup and post the pics.
Oh, The new suspension did great in some highspeed sections of the canyon, Fun stuff..

Hey Scuba that looks like fun. Great pics.

I didn't even know there were trails like that in Big Bear. I've only been there in the snow. I always pictured it green and lush with lots of pine trees.

I've got to get out there once I get my truck smogged.

Thanks man..If you look at the first pics you can see foresty setting, which heartbreak is, Then we dropped over a ridge into yucca valley, Trust me, I was weirded out too..

Is that trail open to the public? Do you need to get a day pass from the Discovery Center to go out there?

Yes, Very open to the public.

You only need an adventure pass in any of the forests, big bear, clevland, los padres, And angeles national. If you stop and recreate, like eat or something, So if I were you I would pick one up..

But every time I've been out ive never seen a ranger or seen someone being sited..

plus i thought the fine was cheap like the same price as a day pass. I could have heard wrong though.
