Harrison East FSR 1/28/07

Went up Harrison East FSR with my folks on Sunday. We went up for the purpose of taking pictures (and trying to master my new camera), so there wasn't any crazy wheeling done or anything. These are all scenic pictures, but seeing as how everyone around here loves pics so much, I figured I'd show you all a little piece of beautiful BC. (bare with me, I'm not the best at posting the pics, hopefully they're not too big)

Down at the beach (Harrison Lake)

And a few from some random lookouts along the way

One of the many waterfalls along the way

And this one my stepdad took of me going through this little water crossing, it's a pretty poor quality pic, but I think the waterfall being right there is kinda cool.

Thanks Marc. It is an amazing area. If you ever get up to this neck of the woods, I would definitely recommend checking it out.

hey great pix julie! how far up did you go? doesnt seem to be like alot of snow. never been to that side of the lake before...looks like alot of fun. taking a trip for the sole purpose of picture-taking is something ive been wanting to do for so long. so much beautiful scenery to get lost in up here. of course id be too distracted by all the wheeling thats available

what camera are you trying to master?

Hey Sonny.

We didn't go up too far..30kms maybe. I'd never been up that side either, so it was nice to check it out. It's alot different than Harrison West. No snow, except in a few shady patches. I could have sworn it was June not January with all the sunshine..had to stop myself from swimming in the lake, it was so tempting.

Oh and the camera is the Canon EOS 30D..I love it, but I'm new to the digital thing.
