Got stuck yesterday.

Some friends and I went out to play in the snow yesterday, we had two 4Runners, one stock Cherokee and one Cherokee with 8" lift, ARB front locker and chains.

There is an alternate way to where the trail leads, I've done it without snow, so I decided to give it a try with the snow. I got into the stream crossing at the start of it and couldn't get through. I tried backing up and that's when I slid to the side and my fender came in contact with a small tree growing by the stream. So I got pulled out by the lifted Jeep...

The damage wasn't that bad, it bent the fender right by the door, so I couldn't open the door. I took the lining out of the fender today and pushed it back out. I didn't get any before pics :pat: or any yesterday when I was stuck, but the place is close by so I went out there today to get a few pics of the place and of my fender as it is now.

Before we left, the huge Jeep ended up screwing something up and 4-low would no longer engage.. Anyway here are the pics: http://qserve.sytes.net/4runner/tbpit_010905/index.html

sound like you had fun,

i went 2 days ago to a local spot with a stock cherokee with bfg at's. i figured he could at least keep up if i didnt do anything stupid, but he got stuck on a flat area of ground so we had to turn around and go back to the simple stuff.
