yeah, it's definitely gonna stay especially with the dark paint -looks like that one dented his sheet metal!. manzanita scratches are inevitable if you wheel on tight trails in CA, the stuff is everywhere! In first season of ownership i found out how much wider the cruiser is than what i'm used to and got scratched up pretty bad by manzanita. still haven't tried buffing it out yet but i'm sure some is permanent. there's nothing worse than that horrific scratching sound as you're trying to squeeze your baby through a tight section and not being able to do anything about it. on a positive note, pinstriping is a good thing and shows that you actually use your rig for what i'ts intended.

hopefully next trip you guys plan i'll be able to attend. truck's down right now as i've got the exhaust out so i can extract a broken manifold stud and then i need to adjust my valves and should be good to drive around regularly afterwards. btw, i'm gonna be checking out a friend of mine's, cousin's fab shop on friday to see his work and talk about getting some stuff built for my truck. my buddy says he's got a flatbed yota so at least i know he's got some common sense! if his work looks good and prices are good too i'll let you sac guys know - hopefully i can establish a good relationship with a shop for all my fabrication needs/wants.

Me too. lol

Some of the scratches will buff out, like they did on mine..... for the most part anyway.

And black is such a great color for hiding scratches.
