both rigs are down here for now, might leave the 88 back at home for a while though. less distraction from school

filthy, i know, the trail we ran is about 5 minutes from my apartment, and since it was the first time out, i didnt want to have to worry about the trip home if i broke anything, or rolled it, like i almost did. my roomate and his friend want to go to the ditch on the 19th. but ill make that a new thread, or pm me.

I like this one:

It looks like you need a ladder to get in and out

i dont need a ladder, its not tall for me, that was to make sure the hard top lined up ok, i had just put it on. my girlfriend on the other hand isnt too thrilled about riding around with me, lets just say shes vertically challenged.

Looks awesome! Are you going to raise the rear or lower the front to make the heights match or leave it as is?
I am jealous, it looks almost exactly the way I am intendind my '85 to look, even the tires I want, I plan to be a little lower, I will trim the fenders a bit. Did you do a write up or anything on it?

the front will be coming down, when i did all the springs i didnt intend to have a full hard top for it(didnt have one hen i bought it), but i came across it for real real cheap and it is gonna be cold here soon, so that sagged the rear a little bit. plus the front springs are brandnew and havent been broken in, they should settle a little bit, and im gonna redo my front hanger to drop the front about 1-1 1/2".
no, no write up, never really felt the need to share it, its nothing really special. now when i go full widths and coilovers on the next round of the build up i will post that up.

Get some 14 inch bilsteins in the front and 12 inches in the rear. Will look better and give you more flex.

rear springs shouldnt settle any, they are 63" chevys out of a junk yard, gonna move a few leafs and do some cutting to get them workin great. .fronts will come down a little bit, they are a new set of allpro's, i can definatly feel a difference in them after just the one trip.
4rocrunner92, they are 14" procomps. im gonna go to a set of bilsteins most likely when i move my shock towers up(right now on compression, the shock bottoms out). i got them for free, thats why im running them.

Looks good John. Wanna come by and do mine for me? You know how to get here.

What steering did you use, and did you move the steering box at all?

jason, you dont want me do it for ya, would take forever. took me a year to do the SAS and the rest of the build up. haha. as for steering everything is from sky manufacturing, and no i havent moved the box. i have all pro prings up front and none of the steering binds or contacts. I am gonna pull the steering box off and plate the frame for strength when i get a chance.
