In ko pa, on the north side of the 8? I never knew there was so many fun trails over there. Wish i couldv'e made it...guess I'll have to do some exploring over there.

umm, sorry to break into this thread it seems like a bunch of friends, but I just had to ask is this really in the San Diego area? I'm in 29Palms and I'm moving back to San Diego in a few weeks and I would really love to try out these trails. I just got my first suv, an 87 4runner, so I never had a chance to off road in San Diego area when I lived there a few years ago. Please hit me back if you can. Oh and sweet pics

 

Hey I was up in 29 palms a couple of weeks ago, exploring old gold mines and the old Dale city sites. Yes these trails are about 60-70 miles east of San Diego on Hwy 8. Just keep an eye on this forum for runs. this 'bunch of friends' are pretty cool guys to wheel with. looks like the next adventure may be the TDS in Truckhaven

Yeah 29 got alot more fun after getting the 4runner, it's funny but my friends and I would pile into my wifes 98 escort and take it down some dirt roads to go shooting. She would get pretty mad, but hey I couldn't take the civic. I love tearing it up in the desert in 29 but am really looking forward to getting back to civilization.
