AZ Great Western Trail - 26 Jan 08
Thanks to all that came out for the trip!
Great turnout!
Total mileage from Bartlett Lake Dam Rd. to I-17 and Dugas exit - 79 miles. Of that only the first 5 miles or so were paved.
The roads were in pretty fair condition - the only heavy mud was at the Pine Mountain trail head. I'm very curious to see how Greg and company did getting out from the camp location.
I did get Greg at the camp site on the 2M radio about 7:15 PM from near my house in Chino Valley via the 147.22 repeater on Mingus Mt.
Tall Boy was the only Yotatech attendee - good to see ya!

. I was able to get everything done but it was 12am by then and a 4am wake call wouldn't have done me very much good.
