Anza-Borrego, CA trip

Here's some pics of my pretty much stock 86 4runner out at Anza-Borrego, CA. I wish i would have gotten more but we just dont really stop and get out to take pics that much.

There were quite a few times out there that convinced me to get lockers and lower gears.

I was out there with 3 jeeps. One being an XJ with suspension, lockers, i think 4.56 akle gears, and 33 in tires. Another one being a stock TJ Rubicon. And the last one being a stock TJ Sport. I felt i little out numbered.
But nothing stopped me from keeping up with them. Ive got more pics with the jeeps if want them.

Looks like you had a good time. The first pic looks like the hill before Diablo Dropoff anfter the mud caves. The others are obviously Coyote Canyon...both very fun areas.

yeh i am not sure of the name of the spot where the first pics were taken but after that hill there was fairly short hill around the same difficulty as the pics show.

we also hit jasper trail on our way home. that was a fun trail. and also did a few other trail i dont remember the names of that hand some rock in them.

I havd an XJ buddy. Old 4runners and XJ's were meant to work in tag teams.

You should cruise out with the San Diego crew on the 4th.
