Abandon Logging Road Exploration
Me and Silver_Truck when camping with some buddies up in the wilderness of NW Washington. We explored some logging roads which had been abandon for a number of years, which was the fun part. The roads were very narrow, with alot of large loose rocks, and steep hills. I still have to sort through a bucha pics, but here is a sample of what it looked like when we turned around.

I've looked at some of your trip posts before and you get some good shots from your area. Great waterfalls and green landscapes.
NW Washington - like Olympic Nat'l Park area? Sol Duc, Lake Crescent, Hurricane Ridge and Port Angeles are all a photographer's dream. I bet there are some great "forgotten trails" in that area.
Hope you'll post more pics soon -

Where we camped and wheeled at is about 30-40 miles east of Bellingham. In the first picture I posted, Mt. Baker is about 4 miles directly behind me. I didn't get any pictures of it, cause of clouds.

I cannot tell you guys how jealous I am, that kind of terrain is exactly why I want to get more serious into modifying my truck! Looks like a trip from Nebraska to Washington is in order. Looks like more reason to go visit my buddy who just moved up into the bellingham area. Great Pics!

I grew up in Bellingham. I miss it more then I could have ever imagined, at the time I thought it was a boring town. Now I live in Michigan. It sucks. Thanks for the pics, now I got some new wallpaper of home =)

I like the Appalacian Mtns. of Boone, NC and that vicinity. I've been to Vegas once with my parents when I was younger...[that was fun ]I've always wanted to live in Colorado, or somewhere with small mountain towns and great scenery.....any suggestions on small mountain towns?
