HE CALLED ME DRAGON YAY! lol thank ya mark! mom always called me william when i was in trouble...
1. thumping the tailgate helps
2. when warm it works better
metal when warm expands just so slightly thumping helps = loose connections or wire is effected that limit switch might have something in it that also softens when warm (greease) thus making issues it certainly sounds like the issue is "in" the tailgate to localize it

Hahahaa, thanks Will......the dragon! Lol. ....
Yeah, interesting, right? Seems to work faster up and down as well.
REALLY am stoked how much better this motor works though. Like "BUTTA", when its not give'n me "draaaaama". Lol.
**************************************
ALSO: The V6 brake system? GREAT, so far, with maybe 1500-2k miles? The Hart Black Zinc rotors(vented and drilled/slotted) are wearing nicely. The Centric ceramic pads are fine and wearing fine and VERY quiet. NOT A PEEP out of them from install to now,.....still nothing! 1" 94 Aisin 4runner master cyl.....
AND, I mentioned in a video, but I think it's worth mentioning again: make sure you adjust your rear brakes from time to time, or at least test them off the ground , looking for that slight resistance , equal on both sides, when spinning the wheel. This improved my breaking quite a bit , especially in Reverse. This is actually an issue for me as I live in a place that is very hilly. Many times when you park, come out of your driveway, etcetera, you really need salt lid River breaks along with the fact that when you do have them, your e brake is going to work more securely and safely.
Just sayin, take it or leave it . Hahaha

Unfortunately Aviator, unless you're referring to some of the newer Foresters, the auto is a 90/10 torque split
Mark, like you aid about the Cressidas you've seen, you've probably got parts in your stockpile that would be useable, too. Given that, I'd say just consider the Subie if you feel the need for a wagon rather than sedan.

Avi, etc. , there is no car she's not worth of! Lol. .. In fact, they don't make one worthy of her! Hehehe. ..
I think they're great, LS 400'S.... Just never worked on a 1UZ. CAN'T be too bad, but sure they have their own drama.

Haha, what red light district has this turned into? ? ? Haha. ..
I thought of Sammy Hagar, lol. ...
I really am happy with it though, and godly recommend doing the light mods I have. Can't tell you how many times in the past that lack of good light was not only inconvenient .... it was down right nearly deadly a couple times. But really, it's more about convenience......, and believe me2; THESE HAVE been convenient and downright helpful, MANY times!

Lil update, as I always love getting new OEM stuff!

Notice anything? YES, the clips are included, already installed on the seal. As Dragon said when just speaking with him,..... "Jeeesh, woulda been nice if they told ya that when ordering the seal AND clips!".... I agree, and luckily, for me, I ordered and picked up from my dealer.
