Motor interference on CB
So I have a cobra cb...I think it is a wbx18 or something like that...it's popular on here.....that's why I got it....
anyway, I tuned it when I first got it and it looked good accroding to the meter.
So I try to squelch out the noise and I have to use very high settings....SOemtimes I can't even squelch out the noise.
Also my motor is triggering the cb....when I get on the throttle it will open up the gate......
Any suggestions????

Two things.... 1) check your ground connection. It needs to be tight and to bare metal, scrape/sand away anything that looks like paint, rust proofer or grease. 2) Head for radio Shack and get a "noise suppressor" kit. It installs in the powerline.
