awesome! use those write-ups...they have everything you need to know. Also, Remember NOT to cut the coax cable...it weakens the antenna or something like that. instead, wrap the leftovers in a "figure 8" and stash it somewhere. Good luck!

in my defense, i have 15000 posts on a the largest forum in the world (a honda car board), and have been working on, designing car stuff for 5 years now. just never delve into Cb, and wanted some quick answers so i could order.

1. Be very careful on what you say on this forum as we do not tolerate any childish behaviors.
2. If you don't have time to read, maybe you REALLY don't need it. Then again, if you don't have time to read why even POST HERE?
3. We don't care if you have 1 post of 100000000000 posts. Asking questions that can be answered by doing a quick SEARCH on yotatech or google is not going to sit well with many of the members. We have covered MANY articles in this forum and sometimes it's best to do a quick search. You never know what you may find. Also not all the posts are the gospel so keep that in mind. I'd say you're going to have to do MORE HOMEWORK from now on forth. Since you say you're a senior member elsewhere I am surprised that you didn't BOTHER TO SEARCH before asking as this topic has been covered MANY times. If not in the same model but in similar models.

Did you know that I have gave you 2 links that were helpful both found in searching in either yotatech or google? If you read both links, all of the questions you asked were answered right away.

READ, SEARCH, READ.
