wiring an alpine swr 1221d sub
how to connect this thing to a mono or 2 channel amplifier?
This sub (yes only 1) has dual voice coil which is 2 ohm each coil. 150 rms each coil.
What connection to make it 4 ohm? And whats the effect on its rms on this set-up?
Or when i leave it 2 ohm each voice coil running to each channel of a 2 channel amplifier? Is this safe for the sub/amp?
Last one, how can you make it to 2 ohm single wired sub to run into a mono 2 ohm stable amplifier?
I hope i dont confuse you guys and gals. :pat:
