I have 3 sets of 17foot RCA's and I ran them from the dash, under the door trim panel, then back through the rear seats. And YOU can do the install, its not that hard. I just wired 1/0 Gauge power wire in my 4runner last night so RCA's are nothing to be scared of.
Got to love trying to hide a hose under a thin carpet layer. And yes, you cant really tell its there, we did a great job.

prolly 6 feet is all you need if you're mounting under the driver's seat. unless you're going to run it to the back. but then i would make sure you have a cargo cover so it won't get jacked! i wouldn't mount the amp to the box either, they're vibration sensitive. You could do it if you want a short life for it. run the RCA's and power wire seperate just in case you get engine whine in your sound while driving.
