I can feel air when my sub hits....
If I put my hand over the sub, I can feel air puffing out of somewhere. I'm thinking it's the screws or where I screwed the speaker into the box.
My question is: Will there be a big difference if I bother to seal up everything and try to get it air tight? (if I can, some tips would help)
I think it sounds pretty good as it is, and I used a little poly stuffing inside,if that means anything. Just wondering if I'm losing a lot of performance w/the air leak.

if it isnt a ported box i would try to seal it,
its not hard, just take the sub out, caulk the inside cracks, and i put a tiny bit around the gasket looking thing that came with my subs, and tightend it down, didnt leak at all.
good luck. and if it sounds good and you dont care, then dont fix it.

I used to use calk to seal boxes, but now I use fiberglass resin/ cat hair/ and saw dust. It looks ugly inside but creates a very tight seal, and re-enforces the weak points where the wood pannels meet. But you need a airtight box, if your running it sealed
