Post Head unit troubles -- suggestions needed!

Ive got a 2004 Tacoma Double Cab and im looking to replace the stock head unit. Ive had trouble finding a headunit that lights up orange to match the orange lit guages already in the truck. If anyone knows of a headunit that would match... it would be greatly appreciated.

I took a look around, wondering myself why it would be hard to find one but you are correct there do not seem to be many headunits that are orange.

The main issue is this, the car audio manufacture's take a few months to catch up with the new trends. Orange lit guages seem to be the new trend. If you wait a few months I'm sure someone will come out with something you will like. Otherwise you can look into other options like multi-colored displays i.e. Pioneer's new line is one such company. I myself have one and I do like it, fairly cheap, good sound, looks great. It all depends also on what you are looking to do with your car audio system.

I used to have an old Kenwood deck that would allow you to switch the illumination from green to orange, but I haven't seen anything like that in a long time.

I own this one, and just let the color display go through its cycle. but you can set it for a certain color and I'm sure you could match the orange with it. The buttons and stuff only come in red and green (I think) though.

You might look at some of the Alpine units out there.

My CDA-7998 lights green or orange.

Thanks for the suggestions... i went down to a local audio store and found several alpine head units where the display and buttons change colors.
