3rd Gen 4Runner stock radio
Hello,
I've a friend here in Spain that imported a '02 4Runner Limited from the US.
He says that his radio switches the frecuency decimals only in odd numbers, so he's able to listen to 94.1 and 94.3 but he can't listen the 94.2.
Is there any way to change this?
Thanks,
David

Do you have frequencies on even numbers? All the channels ive ever listened too are on odd decimal points, and most vehicals, and most decks I have had only had odd decimal points. I always thought it was a radio standard, too keep the channels more isolated.

Yes, we have both... You don't find two radio stations "near" in the dial, at least in the same zone, but there are even and odd decimal frequencies.

euro spec would have the even. us spec has the odd. nothing he can do about that besides getting a new head unit. oh well, the stock stereo sucks anyways. good excuse to upgrade. Right On.
