Please vote on sticker font
After me posting THIS THREAD on www.4roc.org, I got a response from Turboale and he created THIS THREAD.
So what I need you guys to do is to go vote on THIS THREAD and we can get these things cranked out. For the record I would like to see the font to stay consistent throughout the country but that's what the vote is going to dictate, so please vote.
J.

I will vote there...but explain myself here.
I like the TX one better... but if we can get the other now/soon ( what other color options does he have? ) For much cheeper..then lets get what we got. But, I hate the red on it...wasn't there someone selling 4roc stickers a while back in many colors? here we go, found it (click me now dammit)

not sure. Not being from Texas I could care less about having the lonely star theme happnin' on my "flare." I just figured it would be easier and cleaner to have a common theme throughout the community. As for the cost, I think the price ($10 for the 8") is higher and size is bigger than you and I were looking at on a per-sticker basis. the plus side is you don't have to buy in bulk. if you want 4 you buy 4, if you want 1 you buy 1. That added to the fact that somebody else is going to handle the hardest part (actually getting the sob's made) I'm willing to take what I can get. I'm not sure how quick the turn around would be, maybe post on THIS THREAD and ax Turboale.
the 8" one is HERE. that's the size I'll probably go with.
and, oops, I accidentally made that poll to where you can't post to it.

I am not from Tejas either..and I am not a huge texas fan myself ( blocking all the flying tamales aimed at my head)..I did like how it was differient though...but I agree..lets take what we can get...Its the easy way to go.
I am sure in the end we would have had to eat the cost of the stickers that were not bought...this is the best way.

Man, I thought I was lazy... hehe...
Yeah, I would definately not go lower than 8" The decals are really pretty skinny so they are smaller when you see them in person. Plus, its hard to imagine what its going to look like 20ft away (on the shorter side of viewing distance). If you want people to be able to read it I would almost say 8" is too small. But, thats just my opnion, I guess i'm looking to premote the club, not just use it as a unity club decal. To answer the color question, for simplisity sake... the simpler the better. If you guys are going to want 500 different colors, I think it would be best if I send them all to you and one person distributes them at a meet or something. If herk just can't stand the red then if one or two people just can't stand the color combo I guess I could get other colors (but I don't want to start, well, if he gets custom colors, I want them too...) Meaning... a part of me wants to not do custom colors at all, but I also want to please everyone. Maybe we could have two color options? How does that sound? I like all of them to look alike, and thats how we did it, but I wouldn't mind doing two color combos for you guys.

one for each inch?
You think we should go ahead and get him to start cranking on them? I do. I'll probably get a couple but if it ends up looking like the texas flag I might just order a couple from another state and just cut off the state letters.

we could carge a fee to be in tx 4roc to cover the price of the sticker...and when you sign up you get a sticker...but, thats sort of a-holeish and I wouldn't want to turn anyone away.
with only a few people showing intrest in them it would be a huge cost to buy just a few. It is like anything though...people do not show any intrest or say a word until you already have the stickers in hand. I am sure we could sell a few...but will it cover the cost?
We might just have to buy another state's sticker..and do a little chop chop.
btw, where are your pictures???
mine will go in for devlopment in the morning.

Yeah I definitely want one too. I thought the texas flag one looked pretty cool and unique but if the majority wants the one like the other states' then its all good with me! I just want a sticker
