No offense but I don't think I should have to download stuff onto my computer to look at this site unmolested. I don't have to do that anywhere else on the net.

%^&*% I just went to Circuit City trying to type this. Please fix.

I have to agree. This type of ad is annoying and just a simple clickable ad would do.

This has been discussed so many times AND I WAS STILL GOING TO START A NEW THREAD.

Today, it's just being rediculous!! It has been the worst of all days. Just typing in my post I have had to click twice to close it. Each new page, each refresh, each PM. Something must have changed in the last hour because it wasn't doing it this morning.

Everyone, vote with your feet and log off now or after you have made your opinion known to the admins. That is the kind of thing businesses understand. I'm out. Might check back in later to see if it's fixed.

I agree with BLKNBLU. PLUS, at work we can only use IE. I have no option to enjoy. I'm screwed to deal with it, or not visit YT today. When I contributed, it was also because I wanted to help YT and not have to deal with all this crap.

I can see what you guys are saying... and agree that ads coded poorly that effect site navigation need to be fixed.

I guess I just see AdBlocker like having a smart remote when watching TV. I don't see ads here on YT or elswhere on the web. Ad's are everywhere, whether online, magazines, TV... part of life.

My recommendation to use AdBlocker was just a suggestion to help alleviate the headaches you were having ASAP. It's a really slick add-on that I have found very useful.

Yeah, that ad is super annoying. You don't even have to mouse-over for it to take over the entire screen.

I'll be off the site until its gone. It's over the top.

Otherwise...

I've logged on for possibly 3 minutes so far. It's popped up 4x just while browsing the 1st page of new posts (not even clicking on a post), and 1x while typing....err, 2x while typing this post. I'm not even scrolling across any ads as my curser is in the black void next to the quick reply box.

I also agree it wasn't this bad this morning. Something has changed with it since after noon. I have been off and on all day.

ok, its about every 10-15 seconds that I'm getting one of these dang things. I think that might be a TAD too much. Thought this thing was only suppose to pop out when you scroll over it, not just when ever it feels like it.

Holy Crap! When did this become circuityotacity.com? I can't even browse the new posts right now, that thing is all over the place!

Elvota, could you send me a pm once this is fixed, so I know when I can come back? Thanks, Chris

Firefox browser and a firewall ad blocker; no issues here, but that's why I've got Firefox and a firewall ad blocker, lol. I know the feeling, internet ads are crap and they piss more people off than they do interest people in a product or place of market...

yeah, i've seen all the posts about the annoying ads for the past month but it hasn't affected my viewing at all. i've got Firefox and i also use Zone Alarm, never get any pop ups from anywhere, never had spy ware, never had a virus.

the only thing i ever saw that was out of whack was a couple weeks ago the google ad was formatted vertically and went into the first post or two blocking the text. but this has apparently been fixed now.

FireFox and Zone Alarm are the way to go for trouble free browsing!
