Building sliders

Hey i am thinking about building some sliders for my '88 Xtra cab pickup i am wondering whether or not i should bolt it to the frame or weld it. I am a little eerie of welding on my frame? any tips on how to build bolted on sliders?? any pics??

Weld it, it is stronger, and if you need to take it off, you can just cut it off and grind the stuff left down

Here's how I made my sliders to bolt onto the frame:

Have run 2 different sets of sliders bolted on for about 12 years now and no problems.

Lots of good threads on sliders and bolting vs welding.

Welding them on gets my vote.

If you remove bolt on ones you still got holes in your frame to cover up more than likely.

There are some basic slider install instructions on my website that might help you as well.
