Here she sits after a 270 mile drive from San Jose to Reno, before I could even touch it.
Here it is now (nothing really different except for bug deflector and tires, and it's clean!):
What it is:
1998 SR5 Toyota 4Runner 4WD
3.4L Automatic
Anthracite Metallic exterior (I have absolutely no idea why they named it that. I call it shiney brown.)
Oak interior
120,000 miles
What I've put on it:
-K&N Air Filter
-Hella 100/80W headlights
-Bug Deflector
-Installed Alpine CDA-9856 Head Unit
-Self designed/fabricated trailer hitch cover mod
-P265/70R16 Bridgestone Dueler HL Alenza tires. VERY good tires. [link]
Head Unit:
Trailer Hitch Cover Mod:
Tires:
For maintainence/cleanliness, here's what I've done to it:
-Tore out all interior parts and thoroughly cleaned them
-Thorough detail on exterior including wash, claybar, buff, wax, 303 protectant on anything plastic.
-New brake pads/re-turned rotors.
-Timing belt, water pump, tensioner, and idler pulleys replaced.
-Fixed miscellaneous things.
[Pics of that stuff to come]
What I still want to do in the future:
-Get front windows tinted to be the same darkness as the rear windows
-Find a sport hood with a scoop, get it painted and put it on.
-Find some Toyota Sequoia wheels and install them.
-Find a good muffler and get it installed
-Get a ski rack before ski season
