Im currently making this post to try and find some other yota fans that take great pride in there vehicle, maybe meet up and learn some new things and make new friends to increase my knowledge base and hit some trails. I have some mechanic knowledge and small amount of 4x4 experience but lack friends that share the same interest in trailing and working on vehicles, Im not so much interested in thrashing my rig and hard core mudding, im more so into trails and crawling and site seeing.

Hey Cameoman, I'm in the same boat, but I'm up in Seattle. By the looks of it, my rig isn't as built as yours ('86 pickup on 33's), but I usually get out and go wheeling about once a month. I'm more into exploring, fun trails and going fast than trashing my junk. Let me know if you want me to keep ya in the loop when we're going offroading!

Hey guys, Welcome! I'm right there with ya, going out and breaking the rig every weekend isn't really my thing either. Broke it a couple weeks ago and it always sucks limping home and hoping you can get her back together so you can get to work on Monday, but I love me some mild (in comparison to some) wheeling and exploring our many FS roads.

96taco - Where do you usually go? I usually hit up Cherry valley Road for wheeling or one of the FS roads off Highway 2 for exploring. Totally down to meet up some time, the more the merrier.

This sounds great! Count me in. I'm in west Seattle and also need my truck to get me home. I can't afford to break things, but need to get out on the trails.

Any of you guys been out to Reiter pit for the test runs? the dates for the test runs are: March 4th (monday), March 24th (sunday), April 6th (saturday) and April 24th (wednesday) 10AM-3PM. we should go one of these days. April 9th is my b-day so it'd be cool to go the 6th. But if we want to go sooner we could look at the 24th because that is a Sunday. I dont usually have time after work though i do get off at 230. Just lettin you guys know my schedule

I hadn't heard about this. Does this mean they're actually re-opening Reiter!? That would be freakin' awesome! I have weekends off so 3/24 and/or 4/6 would be good for me.

Ya reiter pit is open for test runs on certain days, it isn't "officially" open yet that is why they're doing "test runs" I am on a e-mail newsletter through DNR here is the link to the e-mail i was sent: http://washingtondnr.wordpress.com/2...ter-foothills/

All in for march 24th say aye!! I will start a new post on this page so others can view that there is an event this day!

AYE!!! I'm in for sure! This is going to be great, I had pretty much lost hope for Reiter. Anyone been yet, how are the trails (or trail) looking? I'm on IFS with open diffs so hopefully they haven't gone too crazy yet.

We'll probably need a Discover Pass right?

Hear it's fine for stock rigs. A buddy of mine built a buggy and he said the trails were easy for a buggy. I can't imagine it's much worse than the ridge line trail up at walker valley...either way people are pretty cool and we'll pull each other out if need be

Austin Marr you seam to be on the inside track on Reiter Pit. Can you find out what kind of pass we need. I would hate for us to all drive out there only to be turned away because of noncompliance.

and as far as the trail goes, i dont have personal experience going through the trail but its hard to tell exactly how complicated its going to be without it being right in front of you. i mean worst case scenario if no one wants to try it we could either hit some logging roads up in the hills or we could even head up to walker valley and run some trails up there cause it'll still be early enough in the day. whats everyone elses thoughts?
