1981 22R restoration

I have a 1981 22R short bed 2WD that I purchased a few years back with 70K miles. Truck runs fine but needs some attention. Among other things, I'm pretty sure it needs a carburetor rebuild or swap. It sat a lot with the last owner, so other parts are failing from lack of use. I think this truck has many more years in it, but it feels unsafe to me, because I don't trust it not to break down. I just use it for getting around, dump runs, car camping - no major pulling or hauling.

I am not a truck geek, and I'm not interested in extra power, or lifts, or anything fancy. I am interested in driving a SMALL truck, and new trucks today are not small - not even the ones they call small. So, I would love to restore the parts of this truck that need attention (which includes big things like the carb but also little details like seats and seat-belts). Most of the shops around here are full of mechanics who wouldn't know a carburetor if it fell on their foot. So, I'm hoping to find someone who I could hire to work on this truck - someone who loves, lives, and breathes old Toyota pickups (and who comes recommended). I am willing to drive a few hours for the right mechanic / shop, so Seattle-Tacoma-Olympia-Portland-Bellingham are all acceptable locations. Let me know who you recommend.

Thanks!
