Bilstein BTS-7514 in 3rd Gen 4 runner

So I am about to drop cash on some Bilstein 5100 (24-188265) shocks to go with my TRD YYYB, for my 99 4 runner. However I just found a set of Bilstein BTS-7514 for a smokin deal. Has anyone ran these? The top hat/collar etc is different and it has a threaded adjustment versus perches. Anyone know if these would work. advice? Thanks

If I can't buy one I'll make a set, I will be updating this thread as I progress with install etc. with ride height, quality and such. Any input is much appreciated

I have almost assembled all the parts to complete the project. The upper mounts arrived from AllPro and I am heading to one of the largest swap meets in the US this weekend to hopefully find a Sonoran Steel adjustable panhard bar. As soon as the parts pile is complete, it will be up to mother nature on when I get this done. I will post the build as I do it.

Finally!!!! Installation complete!!

Last weekend I was able to get my 99' T4R all put together. I used a set of Bilstein BTS-7514s for a 2000 Tundra. It worked slick. I ran in to no problems at all other than the Marlin Crawler Extended Brake line kit didn't have the right front lines in it but I am working with MC on getting the right ones sent out. Parts I used are as follows:

Bilstein BTS-7514 Coilovers for 2000 Tundra
8 wrap LC coils
LC rear shocks
1994 Toyota Truck sway bar end links for the rear due to they are a couple inches longer and I want to run a rear sway bar
Sonoran Steel adjustable panhard bar
Marlin Crawler Stainless braided extended brake lines 3"
RevTek Diff drop
Front sway bar drop kit
AllPro Top Mounts

This is the before

Coilover Install - I set the preload to 4.5" from center of lower shock eye to coil adjustment nut surface

Top Mount - All Pro top mounts

After

All in all I gainer 3.5" in the front and almost 5" in the rear. Rides like a dream!!!!!!!!

After about 500 miles on the truck after the lift both inner CV boots started leaking. Passenger side finally let loose completely and driver side wasn't far behind. $104 for a reboot kit from the dealership. It's actually not a hard job, just messy. My least favorite was part was cleaning the grease from my control arms etc.
