5" allpro spring question
#2
You could run a 6" All Pro if you wanted something with more lift than the 5" All Pro spring. Something to consider is the spring rate: AP springs in 4", 5" & 6" have a 220lb spring rate, the Rancho 44044 has a 300lb spring rate for a heavier truck, with a heavier body, with a heavier frame, and a heavier motor. They just wont flex or ride the same. Another board has pics of another companies springs with a 290lb spring rate and people started posting up "where's the flex" when the springs didnt look like they were flexing nearly at all.
Another question is how are you setting up the truck and what type of terrain are you going to be in? 6" is a lot of lift when you combine it with the hangers and shackles you will likely be adding to it, do you really want your truck and center of gravity that high up?

yes to the center of gravity ... kinda makes me queezy when i get on three wheels, need to take off my body lift. tired of feeling like i'm gonna flip over every two feet when rock crawlin at uwarrie. I was kinda like.. i'm gonna get the beast as high as i can so i'll look kool... but thats a lesson learned for me, feel like an idiot on the trail when i'm towerin over all these lower center of gravity wheelers.. i also need freakin full widths.. neone got ne for sale
