33 inch tires

hey i was wondering how hard it would be to fit 33" ltb's on my un lifted stock 1979 pickup i have 4.88 gearing in the axles, and a rear locker. any help aprciated. thanks

Either cut up the fenders or tub it, or Body Lift, or Spring lift. It'd be easiest to saws-all it or tub out the wheel wells, but it's personal preference, and depends on your budget.

spend 80-100 bucks on a 3" body lift and you can clear them no prob, might have to lose the mud flaps tho.

You should fit them stock being the truck is a 1st gen truck. It just depends on how much your springs have flattened over the years.

Yeah 4rnr and scuba are right, there is a search button, and theres other places to talk about this other than offroad tech. I'm sure this has been mentioned hundreds of times

i fit 32x11.5 tires on mine stock. they would rub a little at full lock if i was offroad.
