8-track option on FJ40s?
Was an 8-track tape an option on any of the FJ40/45/55s?
I am looking into getting an FJ40 and thought it might be sort of cool if it also had a working 8-track...
I am sure I could use my Brother and Sisters old tapes
CCR never sounded better then on 8-track.

I don't know. Crap, FJ's didn't even have a hole for a radio until 73/4
CCR ROCKS on the CD changer in my DD! First disk I bought for it. An old worn out 8 track tape sounds like crap.
I had an 8 track in my car for about 3 weeks in High School. Yup, got stolen.

I can't get excited about 8-tracks...yes, I think there are a few stashed back somewhere around here. But if you like tape hiss and gaps in the middle of songs, then 8-tracks are where it's at.
I don't even use my records any more. Cassette deck finally bit the dust and won't get replaced. Viva la MP3, Viva la AAC.
