I am very sorry but no pics. I want her bad but have no $$$. She looks to be in GREAT condition and have seen others at about $19000-$30000 in this condition.
I will be back in knoxville by the 19th of Aug and will take pictures if she is still there.

I called about it and the lady did not know if it had the original engine or a 350 (or other).

Best interior I have seen on any FJ-40 (thought I have not seen a fully restored one either)

Paint was perfect...So I am guessing not original.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't see spending that kind of money on an old car like that and not getting a true collectors year, which I believe would be much older than 1979. These other rigs you've seen for premium prices, were they older models?

FJ40's are nice, and I'd love to own one that was built for crawling but I'd never daily drive one.

And I can't see any value in someone elses bastardized GM engine swap, so if it wasn't totally original, I wouldn't even look at it. For me, the value is in the original restoration market not the full custom market, as you seldom get value back from custom mods.
