Tranny woes
Belated Merry Christmas!
After owning an ‘89 ex’d cab 4x4 w/ 22re (over 350k miles) and a ‘99 Taco 4x4 w/3.4 and rusted frame (200+k miles), I nowI have a 2020 SR w/2.7 n auto-I know...DAWG-wishing I’ opted for 3.4.
Are these transmissions ‘programmable’? 4th gear seems to flatten out while accelerating.
Truck soon due for 10k service. Thnx
All have a good year!

We had the KDMAX "tune" installed on our 2021 TRD Pro primarily to improve driveability, and it worked great. Transmission shifting improved noticeably too. However/but, I don't think there's a tune available for the 2.7 engine, so you are likely SOL. You may consider contacting someone that installs tunes and ask. Who knows?
