Question winch?

lets say you bought a 92 4runner last december and lets say it came with a brush guard and lets say that you think it is a waag brand.....how would you find out if you could mount a winch on it........

To be honest with you, you should not mount a winch to any brush guard.

You can get a Warn multi mount which ties it's bar to the frame, but a brush guard is not strong enough and will end up bending.

You need a winch type bumper that bolts to the frame to hold a winch like an ARB, TJM, or a custom made job.

If you really want to keep it perhaps you can get a receiver mount up front hidden behind the stock bumper and then get a winch that isportable. I'm not sure if you'd clear the bar you have in front of the bumper. I vote for TJM or ARB without the bars in front of the headlight/grill area.
