...And I do not suggest the CBI carrier. I have it, it sucks....

Its better than the roof mounted idea though. putting that thing up there by yourself is no fun. .

Wilderness racks are good though. If I had the money, I would buy one.

My cheap ass surco works with my 35, and a ton of gear up top, no problem though. The wilderness would just be bette.r

What sucks about the CBI? Just having to lift it up and down when you want to open your hatch or it jiggles in the receiver hitch?

I got a great pic of the roof rack while I was stuck in a mud hole.

The tire isn't on it though.

I used to have my tire mounted up on mine. My Wilderness rack is SOLID. I love the thing. I've had it for about 6 years or longer. The tire can be somewhat of a pain to get down though.
