Wheel cleaning tip!
I put this in my mag-chloride thread, but I figure it would get more attention here.
Anyway, it's winter and I didn't want to have the magchloride sitting on my wheels and making pock marks and such. I also didn't want to use a hose and wash off the wheels because I didn't want to have any of the pipes freeze and break.
So I went to Target and in the cleaning supply aisle was a 32 oz. spray bottle from rubbermaid. Being the only spritzer there I bought it. $3 later and at home, I put a little bit of meguiars car wash soap in it and filled it with water. I swished it around and it got nice and sudsy. I then sprayed the wheel about 10 times and after the water had run off of it a little I wiped it with a rag. The wheels are now spotless.
The sprayer is top notch. It is very powerful, with a concentrated stream, not a mist. It was powerful enough, the water was splashing back at me from 2 feet away. It took me all of 7 minutes to do the wheels.
You could also use it elsewhere to spot clean in the winter, or probably clean the whole truck. Definately a worthy investment to those in the winter wonderlands.

awesome.
my strategy has always been to take a wet rag, run over all the dirt, then i spray this wheel cleaner fluid (will get the exact name if you want), spray all over the wheel, then take a dry towel and wipe it all down.
works like a charm.

I was pretty anal about my wheels being clean on my Eclipse and I tried a ton of stuff and I still had to do a onceover with a rag to get all the dust.
Most of the common spray on,spray off stuff worked really well with minimal wiping.
