Weber 32/36 Kit - pass emissions?
I recently purchased a truck with a weber 32/36 setup with KN, etc from LC engineering on it and I have heard from various sources that it will not pass emissions and some say it may? Is this true, is there any possible way to modify it to pass besides registering it in a non-emission controlled area? I live in AZ also. Thanks alot

Run it thru.
I really can't tell you if it would pass or not here in Az. I would say run it down to the test station and see. They could give you a better idea what you need to have hooked wrong or missing. Most likely it would pass the visual inspection if every thing is hooked up rite. You cannot run open pcv on that year of Toy and pass. If it does pass visual and not the sniffer just get you a couple of gallons of denatured achohol from Home Depot or Lowes and pour in your tank with less than 1/3 of a tank of fuel and drive staight to emmisson. It should pass the sniffer then. After the test drive straight to a gas station and fill up.

yeah I am going to put a cat on soon and rejet my carb...run it leaner and take it down, hopefully that will do the trick...previous owner lived in a rural area - didnt have to pass emissions so he wasnt running a cat and had it running richer...I havent tested it yet but I know it wont pass as it sits.
