Tundra/ome lift modification question???

I have a 1999 4runner limited 4x4. i am wanting to do around 3" of lift and am going to go with the lc coils in the back, but was wondering if anyone has ever used te performance products 1" lift springs made for the tundra in the front? it seems a couple spacers are needed to get the full 3" from the trd's , since trd's gain around 2", shouldn't the pp springs give me 3" on my 4runner? I would like to use the least amount of parts as possible, not to be cheaper, but i don't want a bunch of spacers stacked up. I also plan to do a 2-3" body lift on top of the suspension lift to clear 315's. What shocks do i need for the smoothest ride possible, not necessarily the best off road shocks, but for comfort.

here is the springs

Thanks

the trd tundra springs give you 2 to 2.5 inches of lift so the 1" pp tundra springs should give you about 3 to 3.5. They might be a bit stiff though. Go with the green tokicos or OME comfort shock/ struts.

i would really like the 3-3.5" lift in the front. Would i have any cv problems with that lift? i would add a diff drop for sure. only problem with the trd springs is i cannot find them anywhere and on car-part.com i have no idea how to search for them b/c they don't say trd springs, they are all just tundra coils. however,i can easily order the pp's on their website, but i don't want a stiff ride. I recently drove in a 2002 2wd limited 4runner and it rode alot better than my 99 limited 4wd. at 160,000 miles , i imagine what i am assuming are the original coils/shocks, are not i the best shape, as well as steering bushings, etc , as my steering feels like it has a little bit of play sometimes.

One thing i am not sure of is how much taller are the trd springs than the regular tundra coils? As the pp springs may be designed to give 1" lift over regular tundra coils, so they may not be taller than trd's? I guess that is a question for performance products.

My tundra's gave me 1.25". The are the TRD 4x4 ones. Yellow,Yellow. Blue Yellow. With 3-3.5" up front you will definately need a diff drop.

They aren't taller, just progressive.

you can get the TRD springs at trdparts4u.com they are really the best place to get any toyota factory parts(best prices and great shipping deals). They are very friendly and helpful too so if you can't find it on the site just call them. keep in mind you will need a tundra vin # to buy tundra parts from them.

Just use top out spacers to get more lift. you can get them on ebay or toytechlifts.com

i looked all over trdparts4u and could not find the trd springs. The pp springs come to $142 shipped which is pretty cheap, i am looking at like $200 with lc coils too. The pp springs are progressive, so would they be really similar to the trd's just taller? i want a soft ride, so i guess ome "comfort" shocks is what i need? how do the green tokicos compare? What goes best in the rear with lc springs for a soft ride?
