Tundra Lift Top Plate Studs Help
I'm getting ready to do the tundra lift on my 2002 4unner but I have run into a problem. Maybe it's not even a problem. I bought some extended top plate studs from Wheelers so I could put on Bamachem's spacers. Well, I hammered out the stock studs as explained by Bamachem then the new studs just slipped into the top plates. There was no possibility to seat them, because they fit somewhat loosely in the top plate. They aren't real loose but I don't know if this is going to cause me problems down the road. Plus, when I try to put on my nylon lock nuts, the studs will just spin. Any help? Did I screw something up?

Well, I have aftermarket plates and the old studs still seat right in them. Am I right in thinking I need to use the oem plates that are still on the 4runner?
