bamachem has inspired me to improve my suspension and I wondered what people thought of me reusing my Revtek lift.

I'd add the Tundra Coils and the OME struts.

Thoughts? Reactions?

That would be a lot of lift, wouldn't it? You're talking 2 1/2" up front with the Tundra stuff plus the 2 1/2" spacer?

Well, I could take out the top spacer from the revtek, but that is like 3/8 inch I think. hmmm...

The top-out spacers (from what I've read) don't affect the CV angles, only the spacers w/in the strut assembly. Either way, the Revtek spacer is at least 2 1/2" tall. I don't know if it would fit into the strut assembly after you go w/ Tundra coils and the OME shock. I'm sure others will chime in.

It looks like bamachem is using 3/4 inch worth of spacers on top of the coils to get his 2.5 inch total.

Top up spacers have to affect CV angles... Top up spacers, coil spacers, or longer coils all make the spindle drop down and change the CV angle...

If top up spacers didnt affect CV angles, everybody here would be running 3" top up spacers....

I am running two top out spacers w/ Tundra coils and it is PITA to get the bottom bolt of the assembly in.

all spacers produce lift and therefore change CV angles.

i have a winch and my arb on the front. that's why i have two spacers. for a stock front, one spacer with the trd coils will give 2.5" and no spacer - coils only - will give about 2".

reuse the revtek extended studs and the 3/8" top spacers. do NOT reuse the larger in-pack coil spacer w/ the tundra trd coils.

So . . . I've already got a 3 inch lift that is installed on the vehicle. If I go to 2.5 inch, will it look strange with the three inch rear?

As for the CV angles, I've got the drop currently installed so that should be a non issue (right?)

it will look great.

you'll be fine. loose the revtek coil spacer and go to the trd setup.

Thanks Andy - I really like your rig btw. Just so I'm clear - Doing the setup you have up front with the stock/retex rear should look right.

How is your on road performance? I live in a rural area with very poor pavement quality and the ride with my current setup sucks beyond belief.

Tacoma Tokicos or OME?

either one. i think the tockicos are cheaper, and you don't need to worry about overextension of the CV's. i'll probably change over to them in the long run with cruiser tockico's (with my cruiser coils that i still haven't put on) in the rear and sell the $$$$ OME on ebay.
