Toyota Service Intervals- Here's a pdf that lists it out for you
Guys,
I rec'd a Service Advertisment from my local dealership. I put all the items in a matrix so you can easily see and determine what you get (and don't get) at each service interval. Here's a screenshot:
If you'd like to download the document, here's the link. You know the drill- "Right click > Save As":
http://www.4runners.org/images/serv_int/serv_int.pdf
As you will see, the vast majority of this stuff you can do yourself. Things like flushing/filling a tranny of course require the right equipment, so its best left to the dealership or your local Spoofy Lube.
I wonder how our prices out in L.A. compare to the rest of the US?
I'm going to post this in the maintenance section as well.
Bob

Hey Bob,
That maintenance interval document is great. Now I know exactly what I'm looking for when I get to certain mileage to keep up with the maintenance and that list provides me with what needs to be done. All items were listed very well. Thanks for the tip and for posting this list.
And as for the tranny flush and fill, I will definitely leave it to the dealer, but before I'll take the rig to the stealership, I would like to drop the pan and clean the magnets and wipe off the sludge out. Then let the dealer run it on the machine to cycle the fluid, then flush and fill the transmission with synthetic.

Guys,
When i get a chance, I'll update it w/ the precise one out of the FSM. This one came from a service ad, but this is good b/c it gives you an idea of what they'll do in a broader sense.

re: Service interval
I know this is straying off the subject. I know the maint. intervals for my Toyota 4x4, but I havent a clue what it is for my wife's 98 Toyota Camry. The car currently has 51K miles on it. The timing belt I believe is due for replacement, just dont know an exact mileage.
Anyone's help would be appreciated.
