I don't know. I use castrol all the way around so it's a bit cheaper for me. like 3 something a quart and my diff's use less because of the ARB's taking up the space. but from what I hear, it's good but it costs.

The site you linked says I need 16qt for the tranny? Is that a typo, or is he talking about a complete flush? Also, if I don't go to a shop and do it myself, is it a good idea to mix the ~3qt's of Redline or Amsoil synthetic with the remaining 13qt of non-synthetic that are left in the tranny?

Mixing the small amount of synthetic with the remaining mineral based fluid is a waste of money and time. Do the flush but be prepared to pay for it. Especially if you go synthetic.
