Seats....very un-Toyota
Help! I have heard that the Tacoma seats are not very comfortable. After owning a one for about 5 months., I agree. What options are there? Any good aftermarket seat companies? I have never heard of a Toyota having bad seats....I mean that is so basic.

While I don't know from experience, there are several companies that come to mind. First, Recaro, but of course you will have to pay. Second, there is a company called Cerullo (sp?) whose seats Performance Products sells. Thats all i can think of right now.

Beard seats were already mentioned, they are pretty nice I have sat in a few and they are pretty comfy and are great for off-roading with really high bolsters to keep you in place, but they are not adjustable, so if that is important then you might want to look into other manufacturers.
Beard Ultra Pro:
Corbeau was also mentioned, these seats are awesome as well. They are the best bang for the buck seats when compared to Sparco and Recaro (which are twice as expensive as the Corbeau but made with all the same materials). They already have mounting brackets made for Taco's and 4Runners, so you will not have to fab any up yourself and wonder about them fitting.
Corbeau CA1:
I have seen a lot of nice looking seats on ebay as well, just do a search for Sparco and a lot of manufacturers will show up. Most are sold in pairs and cost between 350.00 - 1200.00 a pair.
If you have grey interior, you will have better luck finding some matching ones rather than the oak (I have rarely seen any Oak colored sport seats that come that way from the manufacturer).

Just another thought... but a good set of seat covers can give you some additional padding, and are waaaaay cheaper than a decent aftermarket seat. I got Wet Okole seat covers for my rig, and my back has tanked me every single day since.

I agree. I have driven thousands of highway miles and I really have not experienced any back fatigue. Maybe I am one of the few who likes the Toyota seat or the fact that it just agrees with me. I will say again that the Wet Okoles do improve the seat alot. Probably the best mod I have ever done.

Mine were $265 shipped including the custom graphic (just the fronts). They have a variety of colors and logos to choose from, but only 2 seat cover types... a custom-made-for-your-rig cover and a generic cover that is $99.

Wet Okole lets you pic what color you want your covers to be, and what logo you want on the covers (or no logo at all). They have a bunch of colors and logos to choose from... the TRD graphic was the one I picked.
