I do believe this is a problem with your 6 larger injectors. Now, I'm not a Toyota tuner but I've had experience with tuning Vauxhalls before I moved to the US 11 years ago.
With Vauxhalls, when you let go of the gas pedal the injectors would go to a default duty cycle regardless of engine revs. The ecu is programmed with this duty cycle ratio knowing the stock fuel flow. If you change that flow rate, the duty cycle will be wrong to achieve the correct ideal speed and air to fuel ratio. Using the O2 sensors, it would eventually modify the duty cycle to provide the proper idle speed and air/fuel mixture.

Perhaps Toyota is doing the same?

What is a Vauxhall? haha I had to google it to remember what those cars look like.

That makes alot of sense. But it seems like everyone that was a sucker like me and bought the kit would have this problem? And I dont think that is the case, because my truck burns through fuel faster than I can pour it down a toliet. Any ideas how I can test this theory? ways to fix it?

Every truck is different, thats why you can't have a 1 size fits all tune. You can have a tune that will work for most but not for all. Personally I retune ANYTHING that can be tuned. I never trust the tunes that come with anything.

You simply need to either start learning how to tune or get a tuner, not a big deal really, that is just part of using that kit (really should do the same thing with the 7th injector although not as important for normal driving).

I would start off the tuning process by removing ~10-15% fuel across the vacuum range and see how that does for you. Since the long term trim is at 20% you can assume that is how much too much fuel it is getting. You want the long term trim to be as close to 0 as you can.

This is exactly the same problem I was having, with the same 6 injector URD kit., my fuel trims would max at at 20% as soon as the ecu switched into closed loop no matter what I did to the tune. I was getting no better than 10mpg and my A/F ratio would sit at 9-10 under normal driving, then if i pressed harder it would jump, run right and a/f would be in the 11.5-12 range. It turned out to be the wrong front 02 sensor / AF ratio sensor ( I forgot which is what for the yr and what yours is) Im also not sure yours was replaced but I chased this problem around for a while and tuned and tuned and changed out MAF sensors wiring and all, let me know I'm curious!
