No More Running Boards!
Got my Mud Flaps today and removed the running boards. One of the best mods for sure. Sure feels funny getting in to it after all of these years with them on!! I think that it looks much better. Sorry for the bad pics.

do you really want to have them shipped from CA??? I'm in ATL, and I've got a set off my 2nd gen that I will give to you for FREE. I think they are compatible with 3rd gens.

If I removed mine should I also remove the stock SR5 wheel flares and get smaller ones or none at all? Anybody left there large stock ones on and removed the running boards? Maybe just add mud flaps after taking them off. I have been fantasizing about removing mine for a while now.

Check out the link in my sig to my profile. I have pictures of my 4Runner the day I bought it...and my 4Runner did not even come with running boards.

I left mine on and just got the mudflaps. In my opinion it looks fine with the fender flares on
