next toyota.....??
Ive got a 84 PU and it just got pulled over and taken off the road for a rusted frame...this summer im going to get it fixed and back on the road...the engine is leaking/burning a little oil...It has a new box, 33's, lift and getting new paint...I was planning on putting a chevy 4.3L into it this summer as well and just drive it....
But im going to sell my other car and I want to either beef up my 84 or fix it to sell it and buy a newer 4runner or pickup...I will have around 7-8 grand to spend on a vehicle or 3-4 grand to fix my 84 up... I was thinking of getting maybe a 88-89 runner or a pickup(ext cab)....but im really not sure...i want something that has a big lift, big tires, V6, and in good cond.....or possibly i would get a 4cyl and put a 302...
does anyone know if a 4runner could be converted into propane?
Just wanted to get some opinions on what my next venture should be...

Why don't you just come down here (El Paso) or AZ and just get another 84 and transfer your goodies.
I notice a 79-82 just the other day that I have to go check out.

If you're wanting to do a big lift and plan on using the Runner off-road a lot, you're going to want to get and 85 or older, becasue they have the solid front axles. This is just my opinion.
