Pretty sure you won't have to tub the fenders. My suggestion is to purchase a lift that you feel comfortable with (2.5"-3" front, LC coils or similar rear), add a 1-2" body lift, purchase wheels with a lower offset along with 35" tires, and you're all set. Check clearances and trim if needed.

But what about the crowd who hates body lifts....
If people don't want to start cutting into there fenders and so on, why are they taking there rig offroad.
I have friends with 35's and ifs, both run 2.5" of lift and trimmed a lot and tubed the firewall. One does have a 1" BL but that was to fit an aftermarket bumper that wasn't made quite right.
