Locker Question
I am trying to rewire my Electronic Locker on my 1999 Toyota tacoma w. TRD package etc...
.
I saw the tech write up on rewiring it on a 1997 4 runner. It says the only thing you have to do it ground out the blue and red wire. So that you can engage the locker no matter if you are in 4H, 4L or 2Wd.
Anyways, i have no blue and red wire on my truck. There is a box that says "4wd engagement ECU" on it. And there is a 10 pin connector like there should be. But no blue and red wire, there is a Grey wire in the place where the blue and red should be. I tried to ground out that wire. Not sure if it will work.
Anyone know what to do? Or has anyone done this with a tacoma?
