For example, I may have larger tires than some, but a smaller lift than others, and vice-versa. This measurement will take into account larger tires, suspesnsion and body lift.

Front 38" Fender to ground
Rear 38.5" Fender to Ground
I have the little chrome trim pieces still attached. With my all silver truck, they're not really all that noticeable, but that may affect the measurement a bit. I know my truck is about 4" taller overall than stock 3rd Gen 4Runners.
