Are these kits simple enough to do it yourself? Also, what color schemes have most of you gone with? Also, does this change the lighting associated with the AC/Heat panel?

I am going to chime in here, I hope no one minds. Cybrenergy, I have reverse indiglo gauges for my 2nd gen. I love them. They are not custom colors like the Speedhut ones, nor are they as good a quality as the speedhut ones. I still love mine. They look really cool during the day and at night, they are unbelieveable. You wouldn't believe how many people ask where I got them and how I put them on. They are really easy to install. You have to watch, because some gauges make you take off your needles, which is a bad thing. These (and mine) don't make you do that. All they do is lay right over your stock faces and fit great. You just have to put some double sided tape and they will fit perfect. These gauges are awesome. I would totally recommend going for them. They are so much easier to read than your stock gauges and looks sweet! :fireman:

Cybrenergy

Btown -

Do you have a website for these guys? I couldn't find anything via an internet search.

Do you have any pics of your install? Thanks for the help.

Ryan's gauges

I just noticed in his sig file that he calls the Halo Reverse Indiglo's. I guess Halo is the manufacturer... Hopefully I can find a set.

Thanks Phil

Now I wish I had a 99= Runner evene more so I could get in on this deal. I guess I'm going to have to go and find somewhere else for 96-98 Runners. Ebay seems to be the only place to find reverse gauges for a 96', if anyone knows somewhere other than Ebay let me know b/c I've heard to many horror stories from from gauge kits and ebay. Thanks.

I found a white face panel for mine...sort of. It was for a Taco, but the icons looked the same. It was a rigid, thin adhesive backed plastic that goes right over the stock panel. The big bummer is, the Taco icons, although the same are slightly shifted, so the light does'nt come through cleanly. I ended up using my nibbler to cut holes in the stock panel behind the icons. The icons are blue so it's a fakie Indi, but it looks good. There is one bulb only so one icon is a brighter blue. I'll have to wire in another bulb one day.
