i think you have to call, i'm in the process of the same thing. trying to decide on a used warn or smitty /lifetime

Yeah I was about to order it but backed out because I think I remember reading the lifetime was a limited offer...

I got mine through 4wheelparts with the lifetime warranty it was $336 shipped to my door I believe can't remember but very close to that I would call them if I were you and ask because they are the ones who offer the lifetime not smittybuilt.

Yeah I purchased through Winch Depot and I don't remember having the option to extend the warranty. They talk about it in this thread.

I think he got his through 4wheelparts but I also think they are the same. When I ordered mine from WDepot I had the option to pick up at the store (4wp). In my case I wasn't that concerned about the warranty. It comes with 2 years and if it fails on me more than once in that time I'll know I need to go a different route anyway so...

Try calling and see what they have.
