First pic with lift and tires

Installed OME lift from toytec, pretty easy except for compressing the front coils. Put Mickey Thompson baja radial mtz 285/75/16 on. Love the tires so far!!

Sick Lift

That looks sick. What were the part numbers and cost for the lift? Looks to be about what i was going to throw on this summer.

i put the same lift on mine, my tires are an inch smaller than yours, and for some reason it does not look nearly as cool as that.

I'm ordering the same lift from ToyTec this summer. I WANT 285's also....
Could you tell us if those are your stock rims? If not, what rims are they?
Any rubbing anywhere yet?

Thanks,

James

Dang dude, that's one good lookin' Runner! Yours looks like the same color combo as mine. I did the LC lift to the rear of mine, but am looking at the Toytec front lift to replace my 2.5" Daystar spacers. Since those look like stock wheels, how are you clearing the 285's...spacers or modded upper a arms? I'm very curious since 285's will likely be my next mod.

Yes, yes how are you doing in terms of rubbing, etc. I'd imagine you probably did spacers, but maybe not.

truck looks real good.

and how's the ride w\o upgrading your struts/shocks?

The 285's run just fine, for the most part. At full turn they rub I think on the frame but i havent had the time really to check for sure. I want to put 1/2" spacers on untell I get some 16x8 wheels.

PS: thanks for the complement!! yours is sick as well

The ride is nice. I acually did not change the front struts because i was tight on money. But I got the Bilstein 5125 shocks in the back, they are beautiful!!
Less body roll but rougher ride you can acually feel the road which i really like.

Well this certainly looks like a good lift for me, in terms of fitting my wallet. I can always go back and put in the OME or bilstein shocks later when I get the money.

W\ the 1/2" spacers the wheels will probably stick out past my OEM flares, and some of the cops around here are real pricks about that... not that it'll stop me, just food for thought.

can a cop pull you over cuz he thinks your tires stick out too far, or do they have to get you for something else, then bring up that issue???

pretty sure they can just pull you over for the tires sticking out, but most of the time they wont bother unless theyve already pulled you over for something else...and in that case they give your truck the whole shebang rundown and nit-pick at everything to make your life as crappy as possible! haha j/k

that looks real nice man. i just ordered the toytec 3" lift this week. i ordered the front spacers, w diff drop, rear springs with their $69.99 extended length shocks. and also their urethane bushing kit for the steering rack. $408 shipped. i already bought tires 265/75/16 and put them on w/o the lift. itll look good lifted but the xtra meat on the tires really gives it that aggresive look. any ways nice truck man
