That is sweet! I love the tires, I was hoping to make my first gen. somewhat resemble that, if it weren't for all the dings and mistreatment by the previous owner.

Thanks guys.....

To my knowledge it is the original paint. I have found no overspray or any tell tell signs of paint work. Before yoy guys put it on the alter....it does have some dings and paint imperfections. So its not perfect by any stretch of the imagination.

I blacked out the grill and turnsignals.....I didnt like the grey. pretty much no chrome except the mirrors and wheels. I and either going to replace or paint the windshield trim. Typical Toy.....it has flaked off its black finish, to a splotchy chrome. Hate it.

Thanks for the complements!

How did you black out the grill? I want to black out the grill this summer, and was wondering how to go about it? I love the 1st gen red! Nice looking rig.

I just popped off the grill and removed the Toyota badge(two screws). I cleaned the grill with some paint prep out of a spray bomb and then got some expensive $2.00 spray bomb laquer and went to town. I taped off the lenses on the turn signals and sprayed them as well. Let them dry and replace the Toyota badge and snap it back in....

On yeh....be careful with the retaining clips used to hold the grill to the body. Study them carefully in how to remove them.....they are FRAGILE!

Ooooh.......I like your black wheels.......Hmmmmmmmmm..........

I like the look of the black grill. Not sure if I am going to paint the bumper, 'cause I may get a new bumper over the summer. Thanx for the info.
